What is a First Aid refresher course?

It is vital that first aiders are competent and maintain their skills throughout the three years in which their certificates are valid. Employers are, in fact, legally required to ensure their first aiders do so.

We recommend that first aiders should attend a refresher session every year throughout the duration of their certification in line with Health and Safety Executive recommendations.

To help first aiders maintain their skills and knowledge, we offer two refresher courses to top up your knowledge and refresh your qualification status.
  • Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher)
  • Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (Annual Refresher)
