Immersion Experience at CATCH
We believe in supporting passionate people and organisations who want to make a difference to the lives of children and young people all over the world.
We know it can be a challenging to start a project let alone a youth organisation! All the red tape, policies and procedures don’t make it any easier. Add in the complexities of safeguarding vulnerable children, managing volunteers, whilst growing and sustaining a community building. We believe in sharing our experiences, innovative practice and collaborative work in order to help others.
We offer a 3 hour immersion experience for anyone wanting to learn about our CATCH journey, our relational and restorative practice to engage with young people and their families. You will have the opportunity to learn about our youth strategy and how we empower young people. During the immersion you will see some of our youth activities taking place and get to meet our young volunteers who will talk about their life changing experiences. Our immersion experiences have benefited local and national organisations and we have even supported several educational visits from European countries.
CATCH on Wheels is our mobile concept of providing support to partner organisations who want to setup youth activities. In the past we have helped schools, community organisations, the local authority and start-up youth projects. Our experienced staff and volunteers which includes young people (who act as youth consultants) have delivered charity training and supported others to deliver engaging youth activities. They have also helped embed a youth volunteering model offering guidance on how to get the best out of young volunteers.
