Catch Up Café
We see our café as the hub of the community. It’s a place where people can meet, make new friends and socialise. Built and run by volunteers and young people, we pour passion into everything we serve, from coffee, cakes, salads, sandwiches, hot food and occasional specials. Some of our fruit and vegetables are home grown on our site.
With friends, colleagues or enjoying a peaceful moment on your own, there will always be a friendly face serving food and drinks to keep you going throughout the day. Why not pop in and see what’s on our affordable menu?
Our café is located as soon as you walk through our doors and our Peace Room provides a comfortable space for you to eat, drink and relax or if you prefer you can take a seat in our outdoor gardens.
In the evenings, this entire operation is transformed into a youth-led café, offering a safe space for our young members and volunteers.
Every penny of profit from the Café is reinvested in our charity and youth programmes. We also teach our volunteers and young people food preparation skills, events catering, and support them through relevant training such as food hygiene.
I never knew a place like this existed in Harehills, it’s an absolute gem.
